StudyQuest Secondary Program

Each week students are introduced to a new character virtue or good habit covering the Four Core Virtues of Character.

We break it down into three questions using examples and ideas to help students understand it.

  • What is it?
  • What does it look like?
  • Why do we need it?

Students read the good habit and the related quote and try to put it into practice at home and school by reflecting, discussing or writing answers to the questions in Let’s ask ourselves… By using discussion and examples, students are able to reflect and better understand the character virtue. Each week, they can discuss with their teacher, parents or friends how they could put this new character virtue or habit into practice.

Over the course of the year, the Building Character & Resilience Program will introduce students to 47 good habits or virtues in one of four core areas of character:

  • Respect and Responsibility
  • Sound Judgement
  • Self-Mastery
  • Courage and Strength

Teachers can follow up in homeroom or pastoral care with our Character & Resilience Worksheets. There are 47 ready to use worksheets in all, one for every week of the school year, to help your students get the most out of the program.
