StudyTrek Primary Program
Each week students are introduced to a new character virtue or good habit. We provide a simple explanation of the character virtue or good habit and then a practical example of how students can practice it day to day.
Students can then think and reflect about it by asking themselves the questions in Let’s think about it… By discussing them with their teacher, parents or friends.
Teachers can follow up in homeroom or pastoral care with the Building Character & Resilience Worksheets. There are 48 ready to use worksheets in all, one for every week of the school year, to help your students get the most out of the program.
Over the course of the year, the Building Character & Resilience Program will introduce students to 48 good habits or virtues in one of four core areas of character:
- Respect and Responsibility
- Sound Judgement
- Courage and Strength
The Building Character & Resilience Program will provide students with practical and helpful information to help them grow into kind but strong personalities who will thrive in adversity with the ability to make positive contributions to the world around them.
LIST OF GOOD HABITS/CHARACTER VIRTUES
The table on the left lists the 47 good habits or character virtues that students will come across in the diary throughout the year. For easy reference, we have grouped them into the four core virtues of character.
